OCEAN'S EIGHT Adds Rihanna and Anne Hathaway

As previously reported, Warner Bros. is currently developing an all-female "Ocean's Eleven" spinoff. The new film, titled "Ocean's Eight", will honor the franchise's tradition of featuring an all-star ensemble and the cast already includes Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter, Mindy Kalin, Awkwafina (aka Nora Lum) and, possibly, Elizabeth Banks. The latter was announced, but hasn't been officially mentioned lately.

As reported by Deadline, the new additions to the cast are Rihanna and Anne Hathaway. If Banks really isn't in the books anymore, then they still have to cast one more actress to fill the titular crew.

The spinoff will be directed by Gary Ross ("The Hunger Games") from a script written by Ross and Olivia Milch, and Steven Soderbergh will produce.
