AMC premiered the first two episodes of the fourth and final season of the period drama series "Halt and Catch Fire" on August 19th, 2017. Created by Christopher Cantwell and Christopher C. Rogers, the show offers dramatized insight into the personal computer revolution of the 1980s and the rise of the World Wide Web in the early 1990s.

The fourth season focuses on the expansion of the Internet outside of research institutions to the massses, and the invention of the web browser. Anna Chlumsky ("Veep") joins the cast as Chief Ontologist Dr. Katie Herman.

The series stars Lee Pace, Scott McNairy, Mackenzie Davis, Kerry Bishe, Toby Huss, Annabeth Gish, Kathryn Newton and Susanna Skaggs.

The next episode of "Halt and Catch Fire" will air on August 26th, 2017.

"AMC announced today that HALT AND CATCH FIRE will begin its fourth and final season with a two-hour premiere on August 19th at 9:00pm ET/PT. The series, created by executive producers and co-showrunners Christopher Cantwell and Christopher C. Rogers, chronicles the tech industry and the birth of the Internet in the 1980s and early 1990s.

The final season of the series will see our cast of characters navigating the early days of the Internet and web browsers, pondering their destinies both personally and professionally, while the competitive nature of the tech world continues to complicate and affect their relationships.
