"Mr. Mercedes" is a new series created by David E. Kelley ("Big Little Lies", "Ally McBeal") based on the novel of the same name written by Stephen King. The first season will feature 10 episodes.

The show stars Brendan Gleeson as retired detective Bill Hodges, who enters a cat-and-mouse game with psychopathic serial killer Brady Hartsfield (Harry Treadaway) aka the Mercedes Killer, who ran over a group of people with a stolen Mercedes.

The cast also includes Mary-Louise Parker, Scott Lawrence, Kelly Lynch, Robert Stanton and Holland Taylor. Anton Yelchin was initially set to star as Brady, but died in an unfortunate car accident in 2016.

"Mr. Mercedes" premiered on August 9th, 2017 on DirecTV/AT&T. The next episode will air on August 16th.
