Disney's "Zootopia" exploded at the box-office breaking records while pushing fellow newcomers "London Has Fallen" and "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot" out of the way. Oh, and "The Revenant" is still in the Top 10. Again.

"Zootopia" has become Disney's highest grossing non-Pixar release with a $73.7 million debut that also ranks as the fourth highest March opening. The film also grossed $158 million overseas in four weeks. The film has yet to open in China, Russia and Germany.
In second place we have another new release, the action sequel "London Has Fallen". The film opened with $21.7 million. In 2013, "Olympus Has Fallen" scored a $30.3 million debut and ended its domestic run with $98.9 million verus a $70 million budget. Surprisingly, the sequel has a lower $60 million budget, which should prove useful when the film falls short of the original's box-office performance.
"Deadpool" is now the third R-rated movie to ever cross $300 million after ending this weekend at #3 with $16.4 million and has also become the fourth highest grossing superhero origin film of all-time.
At #4 we have the last of the week's new wide releases, the war dramedy "Whiskey Foxtrot Tango". The Tina Fey starrer only grossed $7.6 million which is well below the studio's expectations. The film's production budget is estimated at $35 million, so in the end it might not be a total disaster.
Last week's bomb "Gods of Egypt" rounds up the Top 5 with a weekend cume of $5 million after a massive 64% drop that spells trouble for the $140 million epic.
