That scarred individual is Reynolds' character, the merc with a mouth, who in this movie is portrayed as an assassin who undergoes an experimental procedure meant to cure cancer which leaves him twisted, scarred, but also endowed with superpowers. The film's cast also includes Gina Carano and T.J. Miller. "Deadpool" is directed by Tim Miller and is scheduled for release on February 12, 2016.
