The sequel for the hit comedy "Neighbors" is moving forward. Universal green-lit the follow-up as soon as the film opened with $49 million in May 2014. Then the movie went on to gross $268 million worldwide. Obviously the news is no surprise. "Neighbors 2" will be released on May 13, 2016 and will once again be directed by Nicholas Stoller. Stoller will also produce and co-write the sequel and stars Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne and Zac Efron are expected to return. The script is credited to Stoller, Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Jay Cohen and Brendan O'Brien. Stay tuned for more updates.
