"A Thousand Blows" is a British crime drama series created by Steven Knight ("Peaky Blinders") based on the real-life Forty Elephants, an all-female crime syndicate in 1880s London. The cast includes Malachi Kirby, Stephen Graham, Erin Doherty, James Nelson-Joyce, Jason Tobin, Jemma Carlton and Ziggy Heath. It has already been renewed for a second season. The show premiered on February 21, 2025 on Disney+ internationally and on Hulu in the US.

"From the creator of Peaky Blinders comes a series about Hezekiah (Malachi Kirby) and Alec (Francis Lovehall), two friends from Jamaica, who finds themselves thrust into the criminal underbelly of 1880’s London's East End. Here they meet Mary Carr (Erin Doherty), Queen of an all-female criminal gang known as the Forty Elephants, and run afoul of Sugar Goodson (Stephen Graham), criminal kingpin and notorious boxer."
