"Ne Zha 2" is a Chinese animated fantasy adventure film written and directed by Jiaozi, and it's a sequel to the 2019 film "Ne Zha". The voice cast includes Joseph, Mo Han, Hao Chen, Gong Geer, Yuze Han and Qi Lu. The film opened in theaters in China on January 29, 2025 and has since grossed $1.69 billion, becoming not only the highest-grossing Chinese film in history, but also the highest-grossing animated film ever. "Ne Zha 2" was released in select theaters in the US on February 14, 2025.

"After the heavenly lightning, although Ne Zha and Ao Bing survived by becoming Spirits, they would soon dissipate completely. Taiyi plans to rebuild Ne Zha and Ao Bing's mortal bodies with the Seven-colored Precious Lotus. However, during the process of reconstruction, numerous obstacles arise.
