Oscar nominee Benedict Cumberbatch, Oscar nominee Rosamund Pike and two-time Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins are set to star in Guy Ritchie's upcoming new movie "Wife & Dog". Ritchie also wrote the script. Filming will start in February 2025 in the UK.
Plot details are being kept under wraps on the movie, but it has been described as a return to the colourful, back-stabbing world of the British aristocracy Richie explored in "The Gentlemen" film and TV series.
Ritchie also produces alongside longtime producing partner Ivan Atkinson and Black Bear's John Friedberg. Executive producers include Teddy Schwarzman and Michael Heimler for Black Bear.
Black Bear launched sales on the titles in Cannes earlier this year, and the film marks the company's third collaboration with Ritchie and Atkinson following "The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare" and "In the Grey".
