FALLOUT Season 2 Casts Macaulay Culkin In Recurring Role

Fallout Season 2 Casts Macaulay Culkin

"Home Alone" star Macaulay Culkin has joined the cast of the upcoming second season of Prime Video's Emmy-nominated sci-fi series "Fallout". Culkin is said to be playing a crazy genius-type character and it will be a recurring role.

Based on the video game franchise of the same name, the series is set in a post-apocalyptic world in which the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters that are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them.

Culkin recently lent his voice to the animated series "The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy", appeared in multiple episodes of "The Righteous Gemstones", and was part of the cast of "American Horror Story: Double Feature".

Executive produced by Jonathan Nolan, Lisa Joy, Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner, "Fallout" is based on the video game series from Bethesda Game Studios. Amazon MGM Studios and Kilter Films produce in association with Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks.

The show stars Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan, Walton Goggins, Moisés Arias, Sarita Choudhury, Michael Emerson, Leslie Uggams, Frances Turner, Dave Register, Zach Cherry, Johnny Pemberton, Rodrigo Luzzi, Annabel O'Hagan and Xelia Mendes-Jones.

According to Amazon, the series pulled in 65 million viewers in its first 16 days of availability ranking among the streamers' Top 3 most watched titles. Earlier this year, "Fallout" was nominated for 17 Emmy awards including outstanding drama series, outstanding writing and outstanding lead actor for star Goggins. It won one, for outstanding music supervision.
