"Argentina, 1985" is a historical drama directed by Santiago Mitre from a script co-written by Mitre and Mariano Llinas. The film stars Ricardo Darín, Peter Lanzani, Alejandra Flechner and Norman Briski. It premiered in-competition at the 2022 Venice International Film Festival, where it won the FIPRESCI Prize , the SIGNIS Award (Honorable Mention), and was nominated for the Golden Lion (Best Film). "Argentina, 1985" premiered via streaming on October 21, 2022 on Amazon Prime Video.
