"Troop Zero" is a dramedy directed by Bert & Bertie from a script by Lucy Alibar ("Beasts of the Southern Wild") inspired by Alibar's 2010 play "Christmas and Jubilee Behold The Meteor Shower".

The film follows a group of elementary-school misfits led by spunky outcast Christmas Flint (Mckenna Grace) who join forces to infiltrate the high-and-mighty Birdie Scouts youth group in order to win a talent show. The winning Birdies earn the right to have their voices included on the Voyager Golden Record, which Christmas believes will be heard by her deceased mother. Viola Davis, Allison Janney, Jim Gaffigan, Mike Epps, Charlie Shotwell, Edi Patterson and Charlie Shotwell co-star.

"Troop Zero" premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival and was released on January 17, 2020 by Amazon.
