  • The faith-based biopic "I Still Believe" starring K.J. Apa as Christian music singer Jeremy Camp. Directed by The Erwin Brothers ("I Can Only Imagine"), the film also stars Britt Robertson, Nathan Parsons, Melissa Roxburgh, Abigail Cowen, Shania Twain and Gary Sinise.
  • The ultra-violent action comedy "Guns Akimbo" starring Daniel Radcliffe and Samara Weaving. The film is written and directed by former Weta Digital visual artist Jason Lei Howden, who made his directorial debut with the 2015 New Zealand horror comedy "Deathgasm".
  • The suspense thriller "The Night Clerk" written and directed by Michael Cristofer ("Gia", "Original Sin"). The film stars Tye Sheridan, Ana de Armas, Helen Hunt and John Leguizamo.

Guns Akimbo (February 28, 2020)

JUMP BACK TO TOP

Director: Jason Lei Howden

Starring: Daniel Radcliffe, Samara Weaving, Ned Dennehy, Rhys Darby

Synopsis:

"Nerdy video game developer (Daniel Radcliffe) is a little too fond of stirring things up on the internet with his caustic, prodding, and antagonizing comments. One night, he makes the mistake of drunkenly dropping an inflammatory barb on a broadcast of Skizm, an illegal death-match fight club streamed live to the public. In response, Riktor (Ned Dennehy), the maniacal mastermind behind the channel, decides to force Miles' hand (or hands, as it were) and have him join the "fun." Miles wakes to find heavy pistols bolted into his bones, and learns Nix (Samara Weaving), the trigger-happy star of Skizm, is his first opponent.

Gleefully echoing elements of Edgar Wright's Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, the Purge franchise, and video games like Mortal Kombat, GUNS AKIMBO is hilariously dark, viciously violent, and potentially -- chillingly -- prescient."

The Night Clerk (February 21, 2020 - in theaters and on VOD)

JUMP BACK TO TOP

Director: Michael Cristofer

Starring: Tye Sheridan, Ana de Armas, Helen Hunt, John Leguizamo, Johnathon Schaech

Synopsis:

"STARGIRL from Disney Plus is a tender and offbeat coming-of-age story based on the critically-acclaimed, New York Times' best-selling young adult novel about an unassuming high schooler who finds himself inexplicably drawn to the free-spirited new girl, whose unconventional ways change how they see themselves ... and their world."
