"Earthquake Bird" is a psychological drama written and directed by Wash Westmoreland ("Still Alice", "Colette") and executive produced by Ridley Scott. Based on the novel of the same name by Susanna Jones, the film is set in 1989 Tokyo, and it tells the story of Lucy Fly (Alicia Vikander), an enigmatic ex-pat suspected of murder when her friend Lily (Riley Keough) goes missing in the wake of a tumultuous love triangle with Teiji (Naoki Kobayashi), a handsome yet similarly troubled local photographer.

"Earthquake Bird" premiered on November 15, 2019 via Netflix.
