"Brian Banks" is a biopic directed by Tom Shadyac ("Bruce Almighty", "Liar, Liar") from a script by Doug Atchison ("Akeelah and the Bee"). The film tells the true story of Brian Banks (Aldis Hodge), an All-American high school football star committed to USC who finds his life upended when he is wrongly convicted of a crime he didn't commit. Greg Kinnear, Melanie Liburd, Sherri Shepherd and Tiffany Dupont co-star.

"Brian Banks" opened in theaters on August 9, 2019.
