"I Am Mother" is a sci-fi thriller directed by Grant Sputore from a script by Michael Lloyd Green. The film tells the story of a teenage girl (Clara Rugaard), who is the first of a new generation of humans to be raised by Mother (Rose Byrne), a robot designed to repopulate the earth after the extinction of humankind. But their unique bond is threatened when a stranger (Hilary Swank) arrives with alarming news.

"I Am Mother" premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival and it was released on June 7, 2019 via Netflix.
