"Late Night" is a comedy directed by TV helmer Nisha Ganatra ("Brooklyn Nine-Nine", "The Last Man on Earth") from a script by Mindy Kaling. The film stars Emma Thompson as a legendary late-night talk show host who is about to lose her long-running show and she is forced to team up with one of her new staff writers (Kaling) in an attempt to save her career.

The cast also includes John Lithgow, Hugh Dancy, Reid Scott, Denis O'Hare, Amy Ryan, Megalyn Echikunwoke, Ike Barinholtz and Max Casella.

"Late Night" premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival and received a limited release in theaters on June 7, 2019. The film will expand nationwide on June 14, 2019.
