The 2019 film "Aladdin" is a live-action adaptation of Disney's classic 1992 animated film of the same name, which in turn was based on the eponymous folktale from "One Thousand and One Nights". The film is directed by Guy Ritchie ("Sherlock Holmes") and it stars Will Smith, Mena Massoud, Naomi Scott, Marwan Kenzari, Navid Negahban, Nasim Pedrad and Billy Magnussen.

"Aladdin" opened in theaters on May 24, 2019 and received mostly mixed reviews from critics.
