Weekend Box-Office: RALPH BREAKS THE INTERNET Holds at #1

Disney's "Ralph Breaks the Internet" is still dominating the box-office charts as the post-Thanksgiving weekend proved to be light in terms of competition. The only new wide release, the horror film "The Possession of Hannah Grace" performed well in its opening weekend, but was no match for the Top 5 movies.

Find out more about the weekend box-office after the jump.

"Ralph Breaks the Internet" secured the top spot at the box-office for its second consecutive weekend, grossing $25.7 million after a pretty hefty 54.2% drop, and its domestic tally has reached $119.2 million after 12 days in theaters. Overseas it brought in $33.7 million over the weekend for an international total of $87.7 million.

In second place we find Illumination's "The Grinch" with $17.7 million. The animated film managed to climb from last week's #3 position and has crossed the $200 million mark domestically. This is the studio's eighth film out of nine releases to score this achievement. It has also grossed a total of $64.8 million overseas.

"Creed II" finished its second weekend in third place after a 53% drop, grossing $16.8 million, which brings its domestic tally to $81.1 million after 12 days in theaters. Inernationally, the film expanded to a total of 29 markets, raking in $10 million over the weekend.

Warner Bros' 'Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald" suffered a pretty serious 61.9% drop this weekend, finishing in fourth place with $11.2 million. Domestically, the film isn't doing very well, grossing a total of $134.3 million after 17 days in theaters. Its predecessor, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" finished its theatrical run with $234 million. The sequel might even fall short of the $200 million milestone, and also cost $20 million more than the first film's budget. Still, it's not really a sad story for WB, as the international performance looks much better. The film has brought in another $40.2 million internationally this weekend for an overseas total of $385.3 million. The global total, however, is indeed much lower that the original film's massive $814 million.

The Top 5 is rounded out by the Queen biopic "Bohemian Rhapsody" with $11.2 million, bringing its domestic total to $164.4 million, while overseas the film has added another $37 million this weekend from 72 markets for an international total of $375.1 million.

And now for the new release, the R-rated horror "The Possession of Hannah Grace". The film opened in seventh place with $6.5 million from 2,065 theaters against a $9.5 million budget. Not very impressive, but then again no one was expecting this one to do better, especially not with the terrible reception it received from both critics (17% on Rotten Tomatoes and 37 on Metacritic) and audiences (37% Audience Score on Rotten Tomatoes and "C-" from CinemaScore). Expect this one to fall fast next weekend. It also managed to bring in $4.1 million internationally from 17 markets.
