"Destroyer" is a crime drama directed by Karyn Kusama ("Jennifer's Body") from a screenplay by Phil Hay & Matt Manfredi ("Ride Along").

Nicole Kidman stars as an LAPD detective who must reconnect with a gang from a failed undercover assignment in her distant past, in order to to finally reckon with the demons that destroyed her. The cast also includes Sebastian Stan, Toby Kebbell, Tatiana Maslany, Bradley Whitford, Scoot McNairy and Beau Knapp. Kidman received a Golden Globe nomination for her performance.

"Destroyer" premiered at the Telluride Film Festival and received a limited release in theaters on August 31, 2018. The film has received mostly positive reviews from critics.

"Destroyer follows the moral and existential odyssey of LAPD detective Erin Bell who, as a young cop, was placed undercover with a gang in the California desert with tragic results. When the leader of that gang re-emerges many years later, she must work her way back through the remaining members and into her own history with them to finally reckon with the demons that destroyed her past."
