"Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" is the last installment in the movie series that started in 2002 and was based on the Capcom video game of the same name. Milla Jovovich returns as Alice, humanity's last hope against apocalyptic obliteration. Without her psychic powers, she is forced to form alliances and rally survivors in Raccoon City for the final battle against the evil Umbrella Corporation.
Written and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, the film also stars Ali Larter, Iain Glen, Eoin Macken, Ruby Rose, William Levy, Rola and Ever Anderson.
"Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" opened in theaters on January 27th, and after grossing $5.1 million on Friday, it looks like it will end up with a third place finish at the box-office, behind the highly successful "Split", and another new release, "A Dog's Purpose".

"The human race's last hope against apocalyptic obliteration is super soldier Alice (Milla Jovovich), but she's been stripped of her psychic powers. She must form alliances and rally survivors in Raccoon City for the climactic battle against the Umbrella Corporation and its ravenous hordes of the undead.
