Evangeline Lilly In Talks to Join 'ANT-MAN'

Evangeline Lilly ("Lost", "The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug") is in early talks to star as the female lead in Edgar Wright's adaptation of Marvel's "Ant-Man". Variety reports that Lilly will play a character that isn't part of the comic book's canon. The character will be the daughter of Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and the love interest of protagonist Scott Lang (Paul Rudd). The film's script has been written by Wright and "Attack the Block" writer/director Joe Cornish. Production begins in April in Atlanta and it will be released on July 17, 2015. In the meantime, Evangeline Lilly will reprise the role of Tauriel in Peter Jackson's final film in the Hobbit trilogy, "The Hobbit: There and Back Again" which opens in December.

Emma Watson to Star in 'REGRESSION' Alongside Ethan Hawke

Harry Potter star Emma Watson is set to star in the thriller "Regression". The film is directed by Alejandro AmenĂ¡bar ("The Others") and Ethan Hawke will star in the lead role. The story is kept under wraps, so far. All that is known about the project is that it "plays with our deepest primal fears to make us feel once again both profoundly human and extremely vulnerable". The film will be released by TWC-Dimension in 2015. Until then, Emma Watson can also be seen in Darren Aronofsky's Biblical epic "Noah" alongside Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly and Anthony Hopkins.

Matthew McConaughey to Star in Gus Van Sant's SEA OF TREES

Acadenmy Award-nominee (and a sure bet to actually win) Matthew McConaughey ("Dallas Buyers Club") has signed on to star in Gus Van Sant's new film "Sea of Trees". The drama is penned by Chris Sparling ("Buried") and it follows "an American man (McConaughey) who takes a journey into the infamous “Suicide Forest” at the foothills of Mount Fuji with the intention of taking his own life. When he is interrupted by a Japanese man who has had second thoughts about his own suicide, and is trying to find his way out of the forest, the two begin a journey of reflection and survival." The Japanese man will be played by Ken Watanabe. McConaughey can currently be seen in the HBO anthology series "True Detective" and he is filming for Christopher Nolan's sci-fi adventure "Interstellar" which will be released later this year.

Daniel Radcliffe and Dane DeHaan to Star in 'COLLEGE REPUBLICANS'

Daniel Radcliffe ("Harry Potter") and Dane DeHaan ("The Amazing Spider-Man 2") are set to reteam with "Kill Your Darlings" director John Krokidas for the indie feature "College Republicans". The script has been written by Wes Jones and it was one of the most highly regarded scripts of the 2010 Black List, scoring higher than the scripts for "Argo", "American Hustle" and "Margin Call". The story, based on true events from 1973, finds "aspiring politician Karl Rove (DeHaan) running a dirty campaign for national College Republican Chairman under the guidance of campaign manager Lee Atwater (Radcliffe). The duo take a spirited road trip to drum up support for Rove’s candidacy." The film will be produced by Bruce Cohen ("Silver Linings Playbook").
