IRON MAN 3 Is Highest-Grossing Movie of 2013

The box-office results for 2013 have been summed up and the big moneymaker of 2013 is "Iron Man 3". The Marvel sequel starring Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow grossed $1.2 billion worldwide, of which $409 million were grossed at the domestic box-office and $806 million came from overseas markets. The top 20 also includes other sequels and reboots like "Fast & Furious 6", "Thor: The Dark World", "Oz the Great and Powerful", "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" and "Monsters University", but also some non-franchise films like "Gravity", "World War Z", "The Croods" and "Pacific Rim".
