Keitaro Motonaga ("Digimon Adventure", "Date A Live") directs the adaptation, and the voice cast includes Alex Borton, Natsumi Fujiwara, Makoto Furukawa, Kana Ichinose and Chiaki Omigawa. The series premiered on April 2, 2025 on Crunchyroll.

"The Too-Perfect Saint: Tossed Aside by My Fiancé and Sold to Another Kingdom" is a new anime series based on the Japanese light novel series written by Kōki Fuyutsuki and illustrated by Masami.

The voice cast includes Yui Ishikawa ("NieR: Automata Ver. 1.1a"), Kaede Hondo ("Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister", Takuya Sato ("Delico's Nursery"), Kohei Amasaki ("Wistoria: Wand and Sword"), Shinnosuke Tachibana ("The Demon Prince of Momochi House"), and Sora Tokui ("Jujutsu Kaisen").

The series premiered on April 2, 2025 on Crunchyroll.

THE RULE OF JENNY PEN (2024) - Trailer, Clip, Images and Posters

"The Rule of Jenny Pen" is a New Zealand psychological horror film directed by James Ashcroft from a script co-written by Ashcroft and Eli Kent based on Owen Marshall's short story of the same name.

The film stars Geoffrey Rush as a former judge trapped within his stroke-ridden body and confined to a secluded rest home, who must stop an elderly psychopath (John Lithgow) who employs a child's puppet to abuse the home's residents with deadly consequences. George Henare, Ian Mune, Thomas Sainbury, Maaka Pohatu and Holly Shanahan co-star.

The film opened in select theaters on March 7, 2025, and was released on digital platforms on March 28, 2025.

BANGER (2025) - Movie Trailer, Images and Poster

"Banger" is a French comedy directed by music video director and graphic designer So-Me. The film stars Vincent Cassel as a has-been DJ who gets recruited by a cop to bust a quirky criminal gang with ties to his rival, which he sees as a chance to return to the top with a banger. Rachel Dimezell, Laura Felpin, Philippe Katerine, Kavinsky, Deborah Lukumuena and Alexis Manenti co-star. The film premiered on April 2, 2025 on Netflix.

THE FRIEND (2024) - Trailer, Images and Posters

"The Friend" is a drama written and directed by Scott McGehee & David Siegel ("What Maisie Knew") based on the 2018 novel by Sigrid Nunez. The film tells a story of love, friendship, grief and healing, and follows a writer who adopts a Great Dane that belonged to a late friend and mentor.

The cast includes Naomi Watts, Bill Murray, Sarah Pidgeon, Carla Gugino, Constance Wu and Ann Dowd. The film premiered at the 2024 Telluride Film Festival, and will be released in theaters nationwide on April 4, 2025.

Jewel Staite Joins RESIDENT ALIEN Season 4

"Family Law" and "Firefly" star Jewel Staite has joined the cast of the fourth season of the sci-fi mystery dramedy series "Resident Alien" created by Chris Sheridan. The new season is currently in production and will air via Syfy and USA Network.

Season 4 begins with Harry (Alan Tudyk) and his baby Bridget stuck in prison on the Grey Moonbase, while a shape-shifting alien called a Mantid (also Tudyk) has taken over his body on Earth, passing himself off as the real Harry Vanderspeigle. Harry manages to escape the Greys and arrives on Earth for a showdown with the Mantid but soon finds he might not have what he needs to finish the job.

Asta (Sara Tomko) and D'arcy (Alice Wetterlund) struggle to keep a secret from Ben (Levi Fiehler) and Kate (Meredith Garretson), who both are desperate to find answers to what has been happening to them. Sheriff Mike (Corey Reynolds) and Deputy Liv (Elizabeth Bowen) attempt to solve some mysterious deaths in Patience that Sheriff Mike is beginning to think aren't caused by anything human.

Staite will join the cast in a recurring role, playing Jules Gardner, an FBI agent assigned to the Colorado Springs field office who also happened to go to high school with Asta, Liv, D'arcy and Ben. Jules arrives in town having been assigned a case involving a series of gruesome murders that have occurred in and around Patience.

Tom Holland's SPIDER-MAN 4 Officially Titled SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY

Director Destin Daniel Cretton has officially announced that the title of the new Spider-Man movie will be "Spider-Man: Brand New Day". The filmmaker made the announcement at CinemaCon, where he also revealed the film's production, which is expected to begin this summer.

MCU star Tom Holland was not present at the annual convention for movie theater owners, which is currently taking place in Las Vegas, but he sent a video teasing the new installment: "I am so sorry I can’t be with you. I am halfway around the world shooting a movie. I know we left you with a massive clip hanger at the end of 'No Way Home', so 'Spider Man: Brand New Day' is a fresh start. It is exactly that. That's all I can say. That's all I've been allowed to say. And I’m well over the hump of giving away spoilers, so don’t be worried. I'm not going to do that today."

Holland is currently filming Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey" alongside Matt Damon, Zendaya and Anne Hathaway.

Cretton also added: "I'm spending my time exploring the next stage of this amazing character with a team of the most incredible artists in the world. We're all, just daily, nerding out over the suit, how to swing, how to create an event, an emotional story, and a ride that we haven't really seen before. I really wish I could introduce you to our entire team who are working their bloods off for this. They are incredible, and you will see their amazing work when 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' hits your theaters."

At the end of "Spider-Man: No Way Home", Peter Parker, having accidentally broken open the multiverse, making the difficult decision to erase his identity from the world. Plot details on the fourth installment have not been revealed. Sadie Sink recently joined the cast in an unknown role.

"Spider-Man: Brand New Day" will be released in theaters on July 31, 2026.

The film stars Sofia Carson as a young woman who is sent on a quest to complete a childhood bucket list by her dying mother (Connie Britton), and in the process uncovers family secrets, finds romance, and rediscovers herself. Kyle Allen, Sebastian de Souza, Jose Zuniga and Jordi Molla co-star.

"The Life List" premiered on March 28, 2025 on Netflix.

THE PENGUIN LESSONS (2024) - Trailers, Images and Posters

"The Penguin Lessons" is a dramedy directed by Peter Cattaneo ("The Full Monty") from a script by Jeff Pope based on the 2016 memoir by Tom Michell.

Oscar nominee Steve Coogan stars as a disillusioned Englishman who undergoes a personal and political awakening after he adopts a penguin during a cataclysmic period in 1970s Argentina. The cast also includes Jonathan Pryce, Vivian El Jaber and Bjorn Gustafsson.

The film opened in theaters on March 28, 2025 in the US, and will be released in the UK and Ireland on April 18, 2025.

Weekend Box Office: A WORKING MAN Takes Down SNOW WHITE

The new Jason Statham movie "A Working Man" conquered the weekend box office, dethroning Disney's live-action remake "Snow White" in its sophomore frame. The film isn't a smash hit but did finish on the high end of expectations. Meanwhile, Fathom Entertainment's theatrical release of "The Chosen: Last Supper - Part 1" scored impressive numbers, outranking new wide releases like "The Woman in the Yard" and "Death of a Unicorn".
