"47 Meters Down: Uncaged" is a horror film co-written and directed by Johannes Roberts, and a sequel to Roberts' 2017 film "47 Meters Down", which became a sleeper hit grossing $44.3 million against a $5 million budget.

The film stars Sophie Nelisse, Corinne Foxx, Brianne Tju and Sistine Stallone as four teenage girls scuba diving in a ruined underwater city, who quickly find themselves in a watery hell as they learn they've entered the territory of the deadliest shark species in the claustrophobic labyrinth of submerged caves. Davi Santos, Brec Bassinger, John Corbett and Nia Long co-star.

"47 Meters Down: Uncaged" opened in theaters on August 16, 2019 and received mixed reviews from critics. It opened in seventh place at the box-office, grossing $8.4 million from 2,853 theaters.

"47 Meters Down: Uncaged follows the diving adventure of four teenage girls (Corinne Foxx, Sistine Stallone, Sophie Nélisse, and Brianne Tju) exploring a submerged Mayan City. Once inside, their rush of excitement turns into a jolt of terror as they discover the sunken ruins are a hunting ground for deadly Great White Sharks. With their air supply steadily dwindling, the friends must navigate the underwater labyrinth of claustrophobic caves and eerie tunnels in search of a way out of their watery hell."
