"How It Ends" is a sci-fi thriller directed by David M. Rosenthal ("A Single Shot") from a script by Brooks McLaren. The film stars Theo James and Forest Whitaker as a young lawyer and his estranged father-in-law, who must race across a country ravaged by a mysterious apocalypse to save his pregnant fiancée (Kat Graham).

"How It Ends" was released by Netflix on July 13, 2018. The film received mostly negative reviews.
