The casting process for "It: Chapter Two" is underway, and after the announcement that Jessica Chastain is on board to play adult Beverly Marsh, we now have reports of two more actors ready to join the cast.
James McAvoy ("Split") and Bill Hader ("Saturday Night Live") are in negotiations to star in part two of the Stephen King adaptation as the grown-up Bill Denbrough and Richie Tozier, respectively. Denbrough was played in the first film by Jaeden Lieberher, while Tozier was played by Finn Wolfhard. The children will also return in the second installment for flashback sequences.
"It: Chapter 2" is scheduled to begin production in July and will be released in theaters on September 6, 2019. Andy Muschietti will return to direct, and the script will once again be written by Gary Dauberman.
