The nominations for the 2018 British Academy Film Awards have been announced. The film with the most nominations is Guillermo del Toro's "The Shape of Water" with 12 nods, including Best Film and Director. In hot pursuit are "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" and "Darkest Hour" with nine nominations each, followed by "Dunkirk" and "Blade Runner 2049" tied with eight nods.

The 2018 BAFTAs awards ceremony will take place at London's Royal Albert Hall on Sunday, February 18th, and will be hosted by Joanna Lumley, who is replacing Stephen Fry. Fry, who hosted the BAFTAs 12 times until now, recently said that it's time to "let others take the Baftas on to new heights".
