The fourth season of the romantic comedy series "You're the Worst" aired its first two episodes on September 6th, 2017. Created by Stephen Falk ("Weeds"), the show follows Jimmy (Chris Geere) and Gretchen (Aya Cash), two toxic, self-destructive people who fall in love and attempt a relationship. In the new season, the two start dating other people but struggle to move on as they are pulled into each other's lives again and again.

The cast also features Kether Donohue, Desmin Borges, Kathleen Rose Perkins, Brandon Mychal Smith, Stephen Schneider and Kiery Baker. The new season will include guests Zosia Mamet and Lou Diamond Phillips.

The next episode of "You're the Worst" Season 4 will air September 13th, 2017 on FXX.

"From Creator/Executive Producer Stephen Falk, You're the Worst returns to FXX for its fourth season with a special one-hour premiere on Wednesday, September 6 at 10 PM ET/PT. You're the Worst is a modern look at love and happiness told through the eyes of two people who haven't been very successful with either. It's the story of Gretchen and Jimmy, fear, heartbreak, romance, sex, food, Los Angeles, Sunday Funday, friendship, and the fact that sometimes the worst people make the best partners.

After proposing to Gretchen and immediately abandoning her on a hilltop, Jimmy has gone into hiding in the middle of nowhere in an attempt to escape reality. Reality does not comply. Meanwhile, Gretchen takes the first baby steps toward reconstructing her life as Edgar and Lindsay struggle to find normalcy in their new post‐Jimmy/Gretchen world.
