"Shimmer Lake" is a crime drama written and directed by "22 Jump Street" scribe Oren Uziel. Uziel also wrote the "Mortal Kombat: Rebirth" short directed by Kevin Tancharoen and penned a draft for an upcoming "Mortal Kombat" reboot produced by James Wan ("The Conjuring").

The film stars Benjamin Walker as local sheriff hunting three bank robbery suspects, one of whom is his brother (Rainn Wilson). Ron Livingston, Wyatt Russell, Stephanie Sigman, Rob Corddry, Adam Pally and John Michael Higgins co-star.

"Shimmer Lake" was released via Netflix on June 9th, 2017.
