Directed by Miguel Arteta ("Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day "), the comedy "Beatriz at Dinner" stars Salma Hayek as the titular protagonist, Beatriz, a massage therapist whose car breaks down and is forced to attend a dinner party hosted by two of her wealthy clients, played by Connie Britton and David Warshofsky. At the party she meets Doug Strutt (John Lithgow), a cutthroat, self-satisfied billionaire, and the two opposites collide with very powerful consequences.

The film also stars Jay Duplass, Amy Landecker, John Early and Chloë Sevigny.

"Beatriz at Dinner" premiered at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival and received a limited release in theaters on June 9th, 2017. It received mostly positive reviews from critics, especially for Hayek and Lithgow's performances.
