The crime drama series "Queen of the South" is back with a second season that will premiere tomorrow night on USA at 10p. Created by M.A. Fortin & and Joshua John Miller ("The Final Girls"), the series is based on the novel of the same name written by Arturo Pérez-Reverte, which was previously adapted in the Telemundo telenovela La Reina del Sur starring Kate del Castillo.

Alice Braga stars as Teresa Mendoza, a woman who goes on the run after her drug-dealing boyfriend is murdered in Mexico. Settling in Dallas, she sets out to become the country's reigning drug smuggler and avenge her lover's murder. The cast also includes Veronica Falcón, Peter Gadiot, Joaquim de Almeida, Jon Ecker and Nick Sagar.
