Warner Bros. has released a new trailer and some posters for the upcoming DCEU movie "Wonder Woman". The film is directed by Patty Jenkins ("Monster") and it stars Gal Gadot as the titular superheroine. Hopes are high for this one as the fate of DC Comics adaptations hangs in the balance following the failures of "Batman v. Superman" and "Suicide Squad". Although a combined worldwide cume of 1.6 billion can hardly be seen as a failure, DC's Marvel-like combined universe is just too flawed for comfort. This movie has the extra burden of having to course-correct the DCEU before the arrival of the "Justice League" movie.
"Wonder Woman" also stars Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Connie Nielsen, Elena Anaya, Ewen Bremner, Lucy Davis, Lisa Loven Kongsli, Eugene Brave Rock and Saïd Taghmaoui.
The film is set to open in theaters on June 2nd.
