5 New X-MEN: APOCALYPSE Clips

Five new clips for "X-Men: Apocalypse" have been released online.

The film is now in theaters and has already received many mixed reviews. The first thing many say is wrong with this sequel is that no matter how hard director Bryan Singer and writer Simon Kinberg may try, it feels terribly overcrowded. Furthermore, the film also features a weak villain, choppy narrative and loud, overblown spectacle. It probably sounds worse than it really is, but it's still a step down from the awesomeness of "X-Men: Days of Future Past".

The film stars Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Oscar Isaac, Jennifer Lawrence, Olivia Munn, Ben Hardy, Nicholas Hoult, Alexandra Shipp, Rose Byrne, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Lucas Till, Evan Peters, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Josh Helman and Lana Condor.

Official Synopsis

"Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshiped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction."
