Disney's live-action adaptation of their animated classic "Beauty and the Beast" has just added Ewan McGregor, Stanley Tucci and Ian McKellen, thus rounding up its main cast. McGregor will play Lumiere, the maƮtre d' turned into a candelabra, Tucci will portray a new character called Cadenza, who is a grand piano described as a "neurotic maestro", while McKellen has joined the cast as Cogsworth, the prince's butler who was transformed into a clock.
The film's cast also features Emma Watson as Belle, Dan Stevens as the Beast, Kevin Kline as Maurice, Belle's father, Luke Evans as Gaston, Josh Gad as Le Fou, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts, Audra McDonald as Garderobe, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Plumette, Lumiere's love interest.
"Beauty and the Beast" is directed by Bill Condon ("Dreamgirls") and will open in theaters on March 17th, 2017.
