Milla Jovovich to Star in Movie Based on George R.R. Martin's Short Stories

Milla Jovovich Picture 1
Milla Jovovich is in talks to star in a fantasy adventure titled "In The Lost Lands". The film is an adaptation of three short stories by "Game of Thrones" author George R.R. Martin. The actress will be joined by Justin Chatwin ("Shameless"). This is the first adaptation of the author's works for the big screen and it will be directed by German filmmaker Constantin Werner, who also penned the script. Here's a rundown of the plot according to Deadline:
"In The Lost Lands interweaves three story threads. One plot follows a city’s desperate queen who hires sorceress Gray Alys (Jovovich) to travel into the ghostly wasteland called the Lost Lands, to obtain the gift of shape shifting, which comes at a terrible price. Meanwhile, warrior girl Sharra must fight a dragon that serves as the gatekeeper of seven worlds to reunite with her lost lover Kaydar. However, she forgets about her quest after being seduced by a mysterious lord. In the futuristic tale Bitterblooms, a young barbarian girl gets spellbound by a lonely witch in a spacecraft, who shows her beauty and love, which turns out to be a net of lies and deceit."
Werner previously wrote and directed a historical fantasy epic named "The Pagan Queen" in 2009, but it didn't pick up much interest, especially not with a 3,4 score in IMDb.com. Let's hope this movie won't end up being something like Uwe Boll's "In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale". Production will begin in Germany during the final quarter of 2015.
