The second season of FX's "Fargo" series is beginning to take shape. The first plot details suggest that Season 2 will focus on Solverson (Keith Carradine) returning to Sioux Falls, South Dakota from Vietnam and tackling a new case in 1979. The first cast members have also been announced. Kirsten Dunst ("Spider-Man") and Jesse Plemons ("Breaking Bad") have signed on to play supporting roles in the series. Dunst will play Peggy Blomquist, "a beautician with big-city dreams who is trying to figure out who she really is and what she really wants as she struggles with societal expectations". Plemons will take the role of Blomquist's husband, Ed, "a butcher's assistant who wants to be supportive of his wife's self-discovery — even if he doesn't quite understand it." Unofficial casting indicates that Jeffrey Donovan and Nick Offerman are also in talks to star. Creator Noah Hawley will resume showrunner duties. Production begins in January and the new season will premiere Fall 2015.
