Jamie Lee Curtis and Emma Roberts have signed on to lead the first season of "Scream Queens", which Murphy claims will "create a whole new genre". Season one will be comprised of 15 one-hour episodes and the story will focus on a "college campus which is rocked by a series of murders". Roberts has had some experience with slasher flicks in Wes Craven's "Scream 4", but Curtis is actually a veteran. The 56-year-old actress has starred in horror films like "Halloween", "Halloween II", "Terror Train", "Prom Night and "The Fog".
"Scream Queens" will go into production in the Spring and will premiere Fall 2015.
