Marvel has cast the first villain role from its upcoming Phase 3 line-up. Daniel Bruhl ("Rush", "Inglourious Basterds") has signed on to play the bad guy in "Captain America: Civil War", the third film in the series which stars Chris Evans as the titular superhero. It also seems that Bruhl will reprise his role as the main antagonist in Marvel's "Doctor Strange". Producer Kevin Feige also added the following:
"With Daniel’s ability to deliver intense, nuanced performances, we knew we had found yet another great actor to share the screen with some of our biggest heroes."Of course, the role itself remains a mystery. "Captain America: Civil War" will be released on May 6, 2016, while "Doctor Strange" will debut on November 4, 2016. For more about Marvel's Phase 3 films read this.
