Margot Robbie in Talks to Star in GHOST IN THE SHELL

Margot Robbie ("The Wolf of Wall Street") is in early talks to star in DreamWorks' live-action "Ghost in the Shell" adaptation. The project has been in the works for several years and in January Rupert Sanders ("Snow White and the Huntsman") signed on to direct. The story, based on the original Japanese manga created by Masamune Shirow, follows the exploits of a member of a covert ops unit of the Japanese National Public Safety Commission that specializes in fighting technology-related crime. The screenplay has been written by William Wheeler ("The Cape") and the film is produced by Avi Arad, Steven Spielberg and Steven Paul. Margot Robbie is currently filming "Tarzan" with Alexander Skarsgard ("True Blood") and will next star in "Focus" alongside Will Smith.
