Eva Green To Star in Tim Burton's MISS PEREGRINE'S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN

Eva Green ("300: Rise of an Empire") is in talks to star in the film "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" which will be directed by Tim Burton ("Alice in Wonderland") for Fox. Green and Burton previously worked together on "Dark Shadows". Burton's current project is based on a novel by Ransom Riggs about a "teenager who finds himself transported to an island where he must help protect a group of orphans with special powers from creatures out to destroy them." Eva Green will be playing Miss Peregrine, who acts as a guardian for the orphans. The actress can also be seen in the Showtime Television series "Penny Dreadful" and the upcoming sequel "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For".
