Chloe Grace Moretz to Star in THE 5TH WAVE

Chloe Grace Moretz ("Carrie") is in final negotiations to star in "The 5th Wave", an adaptation of Rick Yancey's bestseller. The film will be directed by J Blakeson ("The Disappearance of Alice Creed") from a script by Susannah Grant ("Erin Brockovich"). Moretz will play Cassie Sullivan, a 16-year old who survives four waves of alien attacks against Earth. On the run to save her younger brother, the girl meets a mysterious young man who may become her final hope. The rights for the project have been acquired by GK Films and the studio is hoping for a young adult trilogy from the author.
