Chiwetel Ejiofor is currently enjoying a lot of attention after his amazing performance in
"12 Years a Slave" which earned him an Academy Award nomination. All this attention has materialized in a huge chance for the British actor. Ejiofor is very close to being cast as the villain of the next James Bond feature, the 24th in the franchise. The sequel to
"Skyfall" will be once again directed by
Sam Mendes from a script by
John Logan. Mendes is also set to direct the 25th Bond film, as well. So far,
Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris and
Ben Whishaw are set to reprise their roles in the upcoming installment.
"Bond 24" is scheduled to begin production this November, with a release date to be announced for 2015.
