Were you worried that your once favorite TV show is going to get its big-screen adaptation scrapped ? I know I was. But no longer. The filmmakers are determined to start filming the new "24" movie in April 2012. About a year and a half has passed since the last season of "24" ended and the progress of Jack Bauer's cinematic adventure has been very slow and troubled. Producer Brian Grazer and lead actor Kiefer Sutherland both assured fans that the movie is going to get made, but while the script by Mark Bomback ("Live Free or Die Hard", "Unstoppable") is expected to be finished by the end of 2011, they are still looking for a director. Tony Scott ("Man on Fire", "Crimson Tide") was previously attached, but quit. The target year for the movie's release is 2013, so, here's hoping they don't delay this production any longer.
