It was rumored for quite some time that Kevin Costner would be attached to Zack Snyder's "Superman" reboot as Clark Kent's adoptive father, but now it's finally official. Mother Kent will be played by Diane Lane as previously reported and Henry Cavill of "The Tudors" fame will play the Man of Steel himself. The movie is being produced by Christopher Nolan, Charles Roven, Emma Thomas and Deborah Snyder, while David S. Goyer will be writing the script. Work on this epic blockbuster starts in December, 2012. They sure take their time, don't they ?
