Sandra Bernhard Joins THE WHITE LOTUS Season 4

Standup comic and actress Sandra Bernhard ("Severance", "Marty Supreme", "Roseanne", "The King of Comedy") has joined the cast of the upcoming fourth season of HBO's Emmy-winning satirical darkly comedy series "The White Lotus". Character details have not been revealed, as expected. The cast also includes Helena Bonham Carter, Steve Coogan, Caleb Jonte Edwards, Marissa Long, Alexander Ludwig , Chris Messina and AJ Michalka

Plot details are also being kept under wraps, but it should fit into the show's already established template of following a new group of White Lotus hotel guests and employees over the span of a week. The new season, which will be written and directed by the show's creator Mike White, will begin filming in April at Château de La Messardière in Saint-Tropez, the French Riviera resort serving as the new setting for Season 4. Casting is still ongoing.

Executive producers include White, David Bernad and Mark Kamine.

Each season of "The White Lotus" is set at a different hotel in the titular resort chain. The first season was set in Hawaii, while the second took place in Italy and Season 3 in Thailand.
