DGA Awards 2026 Winners - The Complete List

Dga Awards 2026 Winners The Complete List

The winners of the 78th annual DGA Awards have been revealed during a ceremony hosted by Kumail Nanjiani in Beverly Hills. The big winner was Paul Thomas Anderson for his work on "One Battle After Another", which puts the filmmaker on track for an Oscar win, as the DGA Awards have long been one of the most reliable predictors of the Academy Award for Best Director. In the TV categories, "The Pitt" won the Drama Series prize for Amanda Marsalis' work on the episode "6:00 PM", while "The Studio" scored a win for the episode "The Oner" directed by Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg.

The DGA also presented two special service honors recognizing exemplary contributions to the guild and the industry. Associate director and stage manager David Charles received the Franklin J. Schaffner Achievement Award, honoring extraordinary service to both the profession and the DGA. Commercials first assistant director Gregory G. McCollum received the Frank Capra Achievement Award, given in recognition of notable career achievement and outstanding service to the guild.
