The Villainess Is Adored By The Prince Of The Neighbor Kingdom Anime Series Trailer Clip Images Posters

"The Villainess Is Adored by the Prince of the Neighbor Kingdom" is a new anime sereis based on the Japanese light novel series written by Puni-chan and illustrated by Akeno Naruse, which began publication on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in March 2026. Enterbrain publishes a print version in Japan under their B's Log Bunko imprint, with 14 volumes published to date. A visual novel adaptation developed and published by Operahouse was released for Nintendo Switch and Steam in March 2024.

The anime is directed by Takayuki Hamana ("The Prince of Tennis") at Studio DEEN. Yoshimi Narita ("Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie") is writing the series composition with Majiro ("Barakamon") on character designs.

The returning voice cast from the visual novel game includes: Mai Fuchigami, Yuichiro Umehara, Takuya Sato and Yumiri Hanamori. The opening theme song "Ai no Fanfare" ("Love's Fanfare") and the ending theme song "Mahō no Oto" ("The Magical Sound") are both performed by Ayahi Takagaki and Yu Shirota.

"The Villainess Is Adored by the Prince of the Neighbor Kingdom" premiered on January 11, 2026 and streams on Crunchyroll.
