"Merrily We Roll Along" is a filmed version of the acclaimed Broadway revival of Stephen Sondheim's musical of the same name drected by Maria Friedman. Spanning two decades, it follows the turbulent relationship between composer Franklin Shepard and his lifelong friends, writer Mary and lyricist & playwright Charley.

The musical was originally produced on Broadway in 1981, and has since become a cult-classic. The cast includes Daniel Radcliffe, Jonathan Groff, Lindsay Mendez, Krystal Joy Brown and Katie Rose Clark. The film was released in select theaters on December 5, 2025, and via streaming on January 20, 2026.
