"Dark Moon: The Blood" is a new anime series based on a South Korean manhwa that was previously released as a webtoon written and illustrated by HYBE in collaboration with Naver Webtoon and a separate web novel with an alternative storyline on Wattpad.

Shoko Shiga directs at studio TROYCA, with series composition by Toko Machida ("Vampire Dormitory"), character designs by Masami Inomata ("IDOLiSH7" chief animation director) and music by Naoki Chiba ("Strike the Blood IV").

The opening theme song is ""One in a Billion (Japanese ver.)", and the closing songs are "Fatal Trouble" and "Criminal Love", all performed by ENHYPHEN. The voice cast includes Fuka Izumi, Kikunosuke Toya, Jin Ogasawara, Yuto Uemura, Hiroto Shimizu, Shun'ichi Toki, Shugo Nakamura and Chiaki Kobayashi.

The series premiered on January 9, 2026 and also streams on Crunchyroll. The English dub was released alongside the Japanese version on crunchyroll, and features Elsie Lovelock, Kieran Flitton, Will de Renzy-Martin, Valentine Stokes, Steven Kelly, Phillip Sacramento, Benji Buckley and Minh Ton.
